These first-ever subscription performances by the STL Symphony give you the rare opportunity to see a live performance of Verdi’s incomparable Aida in St. Louis! David Robertson and the STL Symphony bring Verdi’s beloved story of ill-fated lovers in ancient Egypt to Powell Hall with a larger-than-life performance by the orchestra, an international cast and the STL Symphony Chorus. The dramatic tale of love and betrayal will be enhanced by innovative lighting projection by designer S. Katy Tucker who worked with David Robertson on his production of The Flying Dutchman at the Sydney Opera House.

This production features video and lighting elements by S. Katy Tucker, a renowned artist known for her design work at Carnegie Hall, the San Francisco Opera, Sydney Symphony and more.  Watch samples of her work at skatytucker.com.
